Nikki Truax: Your New Data Analyst
About Me:
From a young age, my love for solving puzzles, including the Rubik's Cube, showcased my analytical mindset. Though my academic path initially led me to a Bachelor's in Chemistry, my career began as an engineer in nuclear propulsion via the U.S. Navy. After completion of my military contract, I began working as a Power Plant Operator. I then fell into a Chemical Operator role, which evolved into a Research and Development Chemist role at a small company. Here, I was involved in product innovation but gradually realized that my passion for chemistry was waning. My career took a pivotal turn when I transitioned into an Operations Specialist position within the same company. This role sparked my interest in business operations and allowed me to delve into the advanced functionalities of Microsoft Excel, aligning with my innate problem-solving skills. Eager to explore fields beyond chemistry, I pursued further education. I am currently in my final semester of the MBA program at the University of Cincinnati, with a concentration in Data Analytics. This program has not only broadened my analytical capabilities but also equipped me with skills in data cleaning and process streamlining, which I applied in close collaboration with the accounting department in my previous job. As I stand on the cusp of completing my MBA, I am excited to seek new opportunities that allow me to leverage my analytical prowess in data analytics. I invite you to explore my portfolio on my website, which is a testament to my evolving skill set. Please check back soon, as I continuously update it with new projects.
